Dr. Michael's Horses came into being to showcase my work in creating driftwood sculpture pieces of life-sized horses. My profession was plastic and reconstructive surgery, working primarily with the bones of the head and face. I have also had a lifetime obsession with horses and objects made of wood. Now retired from my surgical practice, I devote my full time and energies to creating horse sculptures from wood from various sources.
