Yesterday's Child

"During my years of active surgical practice in Chicago, I always had a workshop, where I could make or fix things."

"I create using driftwood from various sources, tree limbs and branches, old chair parts and various other discarded materials."

Salvage, Repair, Create

A second of my passions is the recycling and salvaging of things that all-too-often are simply discarded without much thought or further ado.  I simply can’t stand to see things thrown away without some thought or effort to reuse or re-purpose them. Indeed much of my time is spent cleaning and saving and storing these kinds of things, waiting for the day and/or need to come along where just such an item fills the bill perfectly.
